Hi to everybody,
since my daughter bought this computer that issues with the NVidia GeForce RTX 2060 with Max-Q Design are present.
It shows always 99% of the times Error 43.
After I bought her a BenQ 2K display BL2420PT connected via DIsplayPort then things got even worse. Having a "No Signal Detected" is the usual and when I get to see how it is shown as "Billboard".
"Device Manager" under "Monitors also doesn't recognize it and this is a "Plug&Play monitor".
Since Nvidia is always showing an error it is impossible to use the Nvidia control panel that would make the second screen usable. When at the 1% of the times it works it also doesn't work either via Control Panel or if the Windows store installs the Nvidia control panel.
What have I tried:
Tried to uninstall and let HP install the OEM driver = Error 43
Using DDU to uninstall the driver completely and installing different driver versions = Error 43 or not and if so Nvidia control panel doesn't work.
Tried "nvidia-error43-fixer" and it doesn't solve it either
Using other software to maybe solve it, like Driver Booster or Snappy Driver Installer but it doesn't work either.
During this year my daughter and I only saw both screens working maybe 10 days and then the BenQ goes to no signal.
I reinstalled windows several times and over and over again the same result happens either updating 20H2 or not.
It is not the BenQ monitor because I tried it on my Mac and it works like a charm and it is not the cable either because I tried other cables and with the macs I got to test they work...
I can only assume it is the Nvidia that is broke
Or the computer because I also have another error that doesn't go away
Right now the computer has:
- Windows 10 Pro 22H2
- OS Build 19045.2364
- Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4190.0
Any ideas or this is beyond any solution and the one there is, is to return it!
Thank you in advance
