HP OMEN 16 3070 QHD
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm not sure where to report this but after hours and hours of racking my brain, I found the software bug...

I bought an Omen 16 3070 QHD with Advanced Optimus at Best Buy yesterday. After I set it up, I noticed Advanced Optimus was not working properly. I kept receiving an error via the NVIDIA Container that the display mode could not be changed. So I took my laptop back to Best Buy and exchanged it for a new one.

You guessed it! New one did the same thing.... So I did a clean windows 11 install and tested every single program I used 1 by 1 until I found the problem.

It's Omen Light Studio causing the problem. As soon as I downloaded Light Studio, Advanced Optimus would not work. After I uninstalled it, Advanced Optimus instantly kicked in and swapped from dgpu to optimus.

Kind of crazy that an RGB software would cause conflicts with Advanced Optimus, but im 110% sure it is definitely the cause. Can we PLEASE get an update?
