So hey, I have Omen trancend 16 laptop 2023 model I guess, The hardware except the screen everything is fine. 1st time in an year after my purchase, the screen got into trouble like this and just gone black!. It came under warranty and i had to replace the display.. Now again after only 11 months after the screen replacement, the display gets the same issue? What should i even do at this point.? I dont know what to do. Someone could help please?

@SadVibz, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It seems like you're dealing with a recurring issue with your Omen Transcend 16 laptop screen. I understand it can be frustrating, especially since this is the second time in a short period. Here's a step-by-step approach to troubleshooting the issue based on your description:

Connect to an External Monitor: Use HDMI to connect your laptop to another screen. If it works, the problem is likely with the laptop screen itself.

Try Keyboard Shortcuts: Press Windows + P to switch display modes (e.g., Duplicate or Second Screen Only) to see if that helps.

Update/Reinstall Display Drivers:

Go to Device ManagerDisplay adapters.

Right-click your display driver and choose Uninstall. Restart your laptop to reinstall the driver automatically.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

Sir, yes. I checked with an external Display and it works fine! So the display is the problem right? And i even tried to open bios (in the laptop screen ofc), its the same as that. So what should I do now? I have to go for internship soon, so i cant just leave the screen be and have to repair it asap. 🫠

Hi @SadVibz,

It seems like the issue is with your laptop screen since it works fine on an external display. This is likely a hardware problem.

For repair or further assistance, I suggest contacting our phone/chat support team for personalized assistance. They can provide one-on-one help and may even be able to work their remote assistance magic to fix the problem.

Note: There might be a nominal charge for the service they provide.
