I’m just wondering what keys depressed to get the on-screen keyboard to come up

To bring up the on-screen keyboard, you can typically press Windows Key + Ctrl + O on Windows devices. Alternatively, you can go to the settings:

  1. Open Settings (you can use Windows Key + I).
  2. Navigate to Ease of Access.
  3. Click on Keyboard.
  4. Toggle on the On-Screen Keyboard.
