I used Drive Booster 4.5 (IOBit) to upddate the touchpad driver to latest version 19.3.11.37. All other touch gestures are working except for the one-finger/edge scroll. As I do not have a mouse, I'm unsure about uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. What should I do?

Hi @keanyate,
I recommend you to download and install the touchpad driver from the below link and check.
NOTE: The driver is for windows 10 but it will work fine with windows 8.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi @keanyate,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.
I reviewed your post and I understand that the one finger gesture on the touchpad is not working after updating the touchpad driver.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I would like to know whether the one finger gesture was working fine before updating the driver?
I recommend you uninstall the touchpad driver from device manager and install it from the below link and check.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Hello.
Thank you for taking the time to reply to my query.
-- Yes, the one-finger scroll was working fine prior to the upadate.
-- I took your advice and uninstalled and reinstalled the driver but there was no change.
-- The option to roll back to previous version was unavailable so I uninstalled and deleted the driver from device manager.
-- I followed the link you provided and apparently HP does not support windows 8.1. (no drivers for HP notebook 15 ac125tu, win8.1)
-- The system automatically installed Synaptics PS/2 port compatible touchpad driver which handles touch input with the accuracy of a bouncing crazy ball. It's only good to click and move cursor. All other gestures are gone.
Really looking forward to your next advice on the issue!
