Hello,
Since the installation of a new game Transport Fever, I receive the error displayed below;
"Open GL context creation failed"
"Please try installing the latest drivers for your graphics card."
"(ogl_LoadFunctions failed)"
The laptop has the following details:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2450M CPU @2.50 GHz
RAM: 6 GB
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics Family and Radeon (TM) HD 7450M | 1052MB
The minimum system requirements for the game are as follow:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.0 GHz
RAM: 4 GB
OS: Windows 7, 8 or 10 (64bit)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, ATI Radeon HD 5670, 1 GB VRAM
As the error says I've checked the latest drivers and have 8.882.2.0 installed.
Unfortunately this don't solve the problem and I keep getting the error above.
Hopefully someone has the solution for this problem.
Thank you very much in advance.
With kind regards,

Thank you for joining HP Forums.}
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand you are getting an error msg while attempting to play a game,
Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you out.
For ATI/AMD Radeon cards, go to Graphics > PowerPlay - Set Plugged In and Battery to Maximum Performance. Click Apply.
If applicable to your graphics card, go to Graphics > 3D and move the slider across to Performance so it is set for Optimal Performance. Click Apply. NOTE: This function might not be available on all ATI models.
I also recommend updating your drivers from HP website: Click here

Hi Riddle,
Thank you for your reply.
I've checked your steps within the AMD Catalyst Control Center, and where possible changed it all to maximum/optimal performance.
I also checked your link for updating my drivers, but these are allready in place on my laptop.
See the screenshot below with the versions of drivers that are installed. (it's in Dutch)
Unfortunately it doesn't give the solution and I still receive the same error as before, after starting the game.
Also see a screenshot of the error below.
Some others on the internet telling me that it's caused by the fact that there are two grpahic GPU's in the laptop and it could be solved if the Intel one will be uninstalled form the laptop. I've tried that in my control panel by switching off the Intel card in the section "Device Manager", but saw that also the AMD card will give error's by switchting off the Intel one. So it looks like that they working together or something.
So thanks again for your effrots in this! Hopefully their will be some other action to be made who will lead to a solution.
