Hi,
I have recently bought an HP Pavilion x360 model number 114_dy1000, and a passive stylus I have isn’t working on it. I’ve done some research on this, and passive styluses should work on this laptop. I have tried updating the HID touch screen driver but it was up to date. My screen reacts well with my finger. Do passive styluses really work with HP Pavilion 360s?
Also, this passive stylus works fine on three other non-HP devices I have.
Thanks,
Greg

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I went to the link you suggested and looked at the "Passive stylus pen issues". My case was "The stylus pen skips, is inaccurate, or works erratically". Unfortunately the description there is ambiguous. It says "...Only a fine-pointed, precision stylus can be used on computer models that work with an active (digital) stylus", yet the heading is about passive stylus pens not active.
Anyway, what I really want to know, if possible, is what passive pens are known to work with an HP Pavilion 360. It seems my new Penyeah passive pen does not, unless there is a problem with my HP Pavilion 360 laptop.
Thanks,
Greg
