Hello,

I own a HP PAVILION LAPTOP 14-DV0038NB (2U3J1EA).

I recently bought 2 DELL UltraSharp u2722de screen, with integrated docking station, and plan to daisy-chain the 2 screens.

According to the 14-DV0038NB (2U3J1EA) datasheets, the USB-C port is compatible with DP 1.4 Alt Mode.

Same thing on DELL's u2722de datasheets, it should be compatible.

However, when I plug my laptop in the screen via USC-C on the correct ports, nothing happens (No Signal detected).

I'am using the provided DELL USB C to C cable, I installed DELL's drivers (I still need to double check my HP drivers).

When I plug the cable, I can hear that Windows sound meaning some device has been detected, but no video signal is passing through.

So it should be working... right ?

Any idea what could be the cause ?

up.

Can anyone from HP analyse this and comment please ?

Just want to understand, I hope it's not falsified datasheets...
