You're very welcome.
Yes, it could be possible.
The only other thing you could try would be to manually install the last W7 graphics driver released from Nvidia like you did with this one...
However, I am skeptical it will work, and it may even make a bad situation worse, so try it at your own risk.

Because the above file is an exe file, you will first need to download the free 7-zip file utility from the link below.
After you install 7-zip, download and save the above Nvidia driver file but do not run it.
Right click on the saved Nvidia graphics driver file and select 7-Zip from the menu.
Have 7-Zip Extract to: and let it extract the exe file into its folder name.
Once that is done, go to the device manager, click to expand the Display Adapters device manager category.
Click on the nVidia graphics adapter listed there. Click on the driver tab. Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software, and at the bottom of that window, select the Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.
Click on Have Disk and browse to the graphics driver folder 7-Zip created>Display>NVAM (setup information file), click Next and see if the driver installs.
Then restart the PC.
