Hello,
I have a problem with my Laptop HP Pavillion DV6.
I got it a few years ago and a few days ago my screen froze ( error with graphic card) and it stayed black. I tried to restart it, and it would not start, it just showed Starting Windows.
I tried and formated it, and it started so I installed wlan, and it worked just fine until it came to the graphic card. I installed its driver from the HP Page and reset it,and it started OK, worked for 2 minutes and froze again like in the first place when the problem appeared.
So, when it is with Intel HD graphic card it works fine but when I install the original driver ATI radeon HD 6700M it just crashes.
Do you maybe know where the problem could be?

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer crashes when you install the graphics driver.
Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.
I recommend you download and install the graphics driver from the below link and check it if helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then share the product number of your computer and I will send you a direct link to download the graphics driver.
Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
