ZBook x2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having issues with pen input on my ZBook x2, the lines in my paint app tend to come up either not round enough (almost polygonal at times) or have "holes" in them

I have a MobileStudio Pro 13 that I hoped to replace and it doesn't exhibit the same problem, so it's not an issue with the software I'm using.

I noticed that the Wacom drivers HP provides are not matched with the latest ones for "true" Wacom devices and seeing as my MSP13 had the same issue with an older version of the driver I suspect that might be related.

Are there any beta drivers for the x2's digitizer that I can try before I return it? As it stands performance for this machine that I paid 3k for is simply not acceptable.

Thanks in advance

Well, even if HP apparently doesn't care about the pen working properly it seems like Wacom very much does, as the latest drivers now offer the full control panel experience

Or who knows, maybe they've been working together behind the scenes...

Either way, if you are unsatisfied with our responsive your ZBook x2 pen is try installing the latest drivers from Wacom's website, you might be surprised

Is there a way to report bugs to HP? I have found out how to reproduce the issue and verify that it can actually be fixed by installing Wacom's drivers (yes, somehow they work at least partially, more on that later)

Basically the problem is when one of the HP QuickKeys is pressed a little overlay pops up showing what function you just enabled, when this happens pen input becomes unreliable for a split scondù causing lines to break

Installing Wacom's official drivers from their website actually fixes this issue (at least as of ver. 6.3.27-2), however while the HP Create Control Panel is somehow included the new drivers don't recognize the x2's pen, and won't show all the settings (only the calibration tab is visible)

There shouod really be an update of the HP Create drivers built upon the latest Wacom drivers I think, right now I have to choose between fixing performance and having access to the entire set of options for the x2 pen...
