Hello,
Recently my HP Pen (included with my laptop) started doing weird things. When I'm writing on, for example, OneNote, after a random period the screen goes black for a short while and then comes back. After this, the screen will turn black again everytime I touch the screen with my pen and this happens untill I restart the laptop. On some apps like OneNote, if I change the pen color from black to a special one (like rainbow), everything works fine, but as soon I select again black or any "normal" color everything starts again. Any ideas how to fix this?
Also sometimes (but this is pretty rare) the pen stops writing for no reason and there can be 2 scenarios following:
1) it starts to write again, but everything is written at "max pressure" even when I only gently touch the screen
2) it will never start to write again, the only way to fix this (and the n.1) is to remove the battery
Are those problem related in any way?
I have already tried to reinstall Windows and update drivers but nothing changed

Hi @Demisu,
I'd like to help!
Update the firmware for the touch screen.
-
Go to the HP Software & Driver Downloads page.
-
Type your model number in the Enter your HP product name, product number or serial number box, for example, HP Spectre 15-bl000 x360 Convertible PC, and then click Find.
If a list of model numbers displays, select your model number from the list.
The Software and driver results page for your model displays.
-
Make sure the Detected operating system is correct. If necessary, click Change, select your operating system and version, and then click Change.
-
Click Firmware.
-
If a firmware update is available for the touch screen, click Download next to the update.
-
Follow the on-screen instructions to install the firmware update.
Refer to - Touch Screen Stylus Pen Is Inaccurate or Stops Working
Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
HP Support Assistant Updates -
1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Also, try updating the BIOS. Refer to this document for steps - HP Consumer Notebook PCs - Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System)
and update using the above steps..
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
