I was wondering if there are better hid-compliant pen drivers for my system or if there was another way to disable the phantom cursor problem?
If the pen driver is enabled, my laptop's cursor goes crazy and is uncontrollable by the mouse or touchpad (I can only work the screen by touching it). I still want to be able to use the stylus that came with my system though, so this has been quite a bummer for me. I have tried installing different pen drivers that were manufactured by HP and Microsoft, but so far none of them have worked and very few have been compatible with my device. I am no expert on the matter after all.
I have ran some diagnostics on my device and have even checked the codes and such on my drivers in device manager. I have also tried manually updating the driver as well from that location, both using software that I downloaded and by having the system try to find it in a Windows Update. All it ever says is something akin to "the best software is already installed on your device."
The build is 18363.1411 and the version has been updated to 1909. Anybody have a solution for me?
