I have been using my laptop for a while and then suddenly, a pink horizantal line appeared. I checked if it was the moitor or the graphics card. I knew that it was the monitor. What can I do to fix it??

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I see that you are having trouble with a Pink line on your display. I have some suggestions that may help with this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Did you try with an alternate monitor?
Have you checked if the issue persists even in the Bios screen?
Have you tried to update the drivers?
In the meantime, let's start off by performing a Hard reset on the Notebook:
Step 1: Performing a hard reset
If you haven't, Please try an alternate monitor to understand if this is either a hardware or a software failure,
if the issue does not appear on the alternate monitor, you may need to replace the display assembly on your computer,
if the issue appears on the alternate monitor/TV as well, re-install the graphics card drivers & update it from the official HP Website: Click here
Step 3: Boot the computer into the Bios screen and check if there is a Pink line on the screen.
1. Turn off your computer
2. Make sure you have connected the power cable
3. Turn on your notebook, as it is starting press the F10 button repeatedly
If you don’t have an alternate monitor, I recommend checking if the issue appears on the BIOS screen (restart the computer and tap on F10 to access BIOS)
This would confirm if it's either a hardware failure or an issue with the graphics card drivers so we may reinstall and update the drivers to fix the issue as mentioned above.
If the issue occurred after an accident (such as dropping it on the floor, liquid spilled on it, etc.) there could be a hardware failure and in such cases, you may need to get the computer repaired via HP (there could be a charge involved if the PC isn't covered by the accidental damage protection plan)
If the Pink line is not visible on the Bios screen then this could be a software related issue, let's try to uninstall the display drivers from Device manager.
Display drivers:
Use shortcut keys Win + X on Windows 10
Select Device Manager.
Expand the entry. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device.
You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button.
Now restart the computer and then update the Bios, and graphics card drivers from our HP support website, using this link.
If the issue persists, I would suggest here is to uninstall the HP Support Assistant from the control panel and then reinstall the latest version.
Download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.
