HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0278ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there.

Unfortunately my HP Envy x360 Laptop 13 inch Version gave up on me.

Not even after 2 years of barely using this thing (not even touching it for half a year) the hinge on the right side broke .

I had the Laptop in repairs already twice for problems with the housing, keyboard, Trackpad and also mentioned a very small gap on the hinges. But no one paid attention to that at HP.

I saw people online with the same problem - even though this does not look like a user error to me! I used the Laptop as a tablet for maybe 2-3 times and I never put pressure or anything on the hinges / display.

Whilst just trying to close the **bleep** thing - the hinge broke and broke the whole display with it.

This looks to me like a super bad design and build quality from HP.

Anyone else has this or similar problems?

Sidenote: HP offered to repair it for a whopping 500€ 🙃. (You can get the same laptop as nearly new for that)
