Hello HP forum,
Today my HP envy x360 laptop hinge broke without any clear reason. I have owned this laptop for 12 months. No issues at all, great condition, no scratches or any sign of wear and tear on the casing, never dropped or had anything heavy on it. Today, I go to open it from a closed position and suddenly one of the hinges pops out and the screen breaks. Upon closer inspection it seems that one of the screws had popped out of the hinge mechanism causing the whole area to buckle and crack the screen.
Based on other forum posts I've seen, this seems to be a known issue among this line of HP laptops.
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on who to contact or how to get help?
