Hey,
I have:
HP Envy 23-d112eb
Graphics card Nvidia GeForce GT 630M
Windows 10 home with all the latest updates (version 1909 / build 18363,693)
Use Adobe Creative Cloud software
After the latest updates, Premiere Pro opens with an error message: Nvidia GeForce GT 630M unsupported video driver
Adobe / Premiere Pro recommends using Nvidia driver version 430.86
Nvidia driver version 430.86 downloaded and attempted to install but gives double error message:
a- this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware
b- this Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows
What do you recommend:
a- replace the GT 630M graphics card with a newer one and which one do you recommend for my PC configuration?
b- or is it really a Windows problem (version 1909 / build 18363.693) and am I waiting for Microsoft to take action? (nevertheless thousands of computers running with latest versions of Windows 10 and Premiere Pro)
Help!
Regards, William.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
Firstly let's perform driver rollback:
- Click Start.
- Select Control Panel > Device Manager.
- Click Device Manager.
- Double-click on Display Adapters.
- Double-click on your NVIDIA GPU.
- Select the Driver Tab and select driver rollback
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer. If the issue persists Uninstall the Graphics driver using the above method.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hi,
Many thanks for your quick reply.
I did what you suggested but I could not select rollback, there was no previous driver available.
I have resumed the installation of the current and last installed driver 391.35, not from the Nvidia site but with the downloaded Nvidia 391.35 driver file.
Installation done with a fresh start by first removing the existing installation.
The Premiere Pro / After Effects problem remains.
Adobe proposes to install the driver version 430.86.
I have downloaded the 430.86 driver from Nvidia.
The 430.86 installation stops and returns the same error:
a- this graphics driver cannot find compatible graphics hardware
b- this Nvidia graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows
A bit of history:
I had the same problem a few months ago.
I updated the Nvidia driver (I don't remember the previous version number) with the current version 391.35.
The Premiere Pro / After Effects problem was solved.
After a while there was an Adobe update of Premiere Pro / After Effects version and I got the same Adobe error message again: vidia GeForce GT 630M unsupported video driver, Adobe / Premiere Pro recommends using Nvidia driver version 430.86.
Same question, what do you recommend:
a- replace the GT 630M graphics card with a newer one and which one do you recommend for my PC configuration?
b- or is it a Windows problem (version 1909 / build 18363,693) and am I waiting for Microsoft to take action?
Regards, William.

Thank you for posting back.
As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
And, as the GT 630 graphics card may cost you less than one hundred dollars however you could change the configuration at your own discretion.
Please feel free to contact us here anytime you need any further assistance. Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.

Hi,
I still appreciate your help but I am also a bit disappointed.
I have given just about everything an update that needed an update (Windows, Adobe software, Nvidia card, Cuda files, ...)
First I started looking for help with Nvidia (final answer: Driver version 391.35 is the last compatible driver for GT 630M while Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effect suggested 430.86), but no answer to my question which GPU can replace my current GT 630M.
Then I thought I could find the answer at HP because Hp is the builder of my computer ENVY 23-d112eb. You must know that I am really HP dedicated. I have HP ENVY 23-d112eb, HP Officejet 6500A, HP Pavilion 11N010NB X360_notebook, HP Pavilion P6015be, HP Deskjet F2100 and an older but always working HP Laptop 6910p. And despite the GPU problems (if the GPU is the problem) I have no complaints about my HP ENVY 23-d112eb and it is 99% certain that my next purchase will also be HP.
So, please, avoid having to go back through a lot of steps hoping to find the right person who can give a solution to my problem and who can give me the right advice: or a solution with the current configuration (drivers? ) or which card I install best.
I would therefore appreciate it if you would forward my question to the right service, to the right person.
Many thanks.
