HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey0000 (54J83AV)

Is the HP Pro Pen G1 compatible with a HP ENVY x360 2 in 1 15-ey0xxx laptop? I tried connecting it but it didn't work, although i may need a new battery for the pen.

Hi  @pubpic

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you're trying to use the HP Pro Pen G1 with your HP ENVY x360 15-ey0xxx, and I'd be happy to help.

The HP Pro Pen G1 is designed to work only with specific HP systems that support the required active pen technology. If the pen is not responding, a depleted battery could be one cause, but compatibility is also an important factor to verify.

If your notebook does not support the HP Pro Pen G1, Several HP stylus options depending on the exact model and display hardware, including:

  • HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen
  • HP Renew Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen
  • HP MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen
  • HP Active Pen G3

Compatibility can vary even within the same ENVY x360 series, so the product number will help confirm the exact supported pen models.

I hope this helps

I'm an HP Employee.
