@STCE As per the product specifications of your device: click here to verify, it has only 1 of 3 USB Type-C ports that support display conversion as mentioned below, so make sure you are using the right port:

  • 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data Transfer up to 5 Gb/s, Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.2, HP Sleep and Charge);
  • 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1 (1 HP Sleep and Charge)

Also, click here to understand the alt mode supported by your USB ports.

Hello,

Thank you for answer. Yes i connect the right port.

When i connected HP Elite USB-C Hub to computer, shows limited connection on screen. I dont know why i cannot connect 2 external monitors.

I cannot with the hub connect the USB-C port show a 3 monitor.

I can do anything?

@STCE As I mentioned, you only have one USB port that supports display conversion and HP does not recommend using a HUB unless its got external power source as otherwise, it may not be getting as much as power it requires to run, I hope you understand.

Hello @Riddle_Decipher

I know that.

My question is: i connected a external monitor by HDMI and its ok. But i want to connect another external monitor by that specific USB port.

I try multiple adapters and nothing, i cannot connect a second external monitor.

Its possible to connected 2 external monitors?

The seller guy said to me to buy Envy USB-C HUB that will work, but not working.

So with this laptop how i can make connection with 2 external monitors.

And thank you for the reply. I try everything and nothing.

@STCE Ideally, it should work, I suggest you check if other devices work fine when connected to that specific USB port, to ensure it's functioning, if not, this could be a hardware failure, however, if other devices work while the adapter doesn't, you may want to check with an alternate monitor or get USB to Display port adapter to check if that works.

keep me posted.
