Troubleshooting black screen issues on HP Notebooks: Click here to view the instructions!

HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I keep having a problem with my mousepad stopping and 1 circle with a small star or something in it that pops up on the left side of the screen. Always in the same spot like I touched it. I fixed it once by disabling the touchscreen but after an update, it’s right back. Now even with the touchscreen disabled, then it still does it. The only way to get it off the screen is to touch it and drag it off the screen.

I have also updated all drivers and no change. I have pictures of the circle but I don't see where i can upload it. Tried tech support but I can't  speak to a real person.

@Jdevil

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchscreen and the touchpad are not working on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.
