Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

GRAZIE!

Hi I recently took a lptop HP Model 15-da0997nl, and I stumbled upon a very serious problem with the Nvidia Geforce MX110 graphics card.

In practice, after an update required by the PC graphics card did not work anymore. I tried to restore to the previous point, to uninstall and reinstall the graphics card drivers, to update, to the points that the PC was continually crashing With blue screen and "WATCHDOG VIOLATION ERROR

I had to then reinstall a clean version of Windows 10 to bring back to life the PC, after I got in touch with the HP support, following the directions that I have sent by email.

But nothing about the Nvidia graphics card does not work, going to CONTROL PANEL > DEVICE MANAGER, you notice that under VIDEO CARDS > NVIDIA GEFORC And MX110, the card's icon has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark insideEntering the PROPERTIES-NVIDIA GEFORCE MX110, to the point "device Status", reads: "The device has reported a problem and has been interrupted. (Code 43) ".

I tried everything reinstall, delete the device and reinstall, update from the official NVIDIA site, but nothing about anything always the usual error.

I did a thorough test with the support HP PC DIAGNOSTIC WINDOWS HARDWARE, but all the rumors reported me PASSED

Help meeee please !

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue,

Let's update the driver: Press the Win key + X to open the Win + X menu and select from there Device Manager.
Alternatively, you can enter ‘Device Manager’ in the Windows search box to open the window.

Click Display adapter and then you should right-click your graphics card to open options.

Now select Update Driver Software from there to open the window.

  • Note: Select the Search automatically for updated driver software option on that window to see if any updates are required.

Next: Uninstall the drivers

  1. Open Device Manager.
  2. Locate your graphics card driver, right-click it and choose Uninstall device from the menu. When the confirmation dialogue appears, check Remove driver software for this device and click the Uninstall button.
  3. After removing the driver, restart your PC and Windows 10 will automatically install the default display driver.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

I'm also having exactly the same problem. 3 days ago I started my laptop, and the NVIDIA taskbar icon didn't show up so I tried to open GeForce Experience which showed up this message -"No graphics driver installed". Then I was automatically taken to the "Drivers" tab where I had the options for "Express Installation and Custom Installation". Respectively, I tried both options but the result was same; drivers were updated to the latest version and the PhysX System Software didn't install with message "A newer or same version is present". After restarting the laptop, now when I tried starting any of the applications(like Adobe Photoshop or Need for Speed) that utilises Dedicated Graphics card, the applications simply didn't start. It was then when I looked up for NVIDIA Graphics Adapter in the device manager list and found out it had an exclamation mark icon, on double clicking it, device status had the same message " Windows Has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)".

After that I contacted Customer Support(India), and followed all their instructions. They told me to reinstall windows 10, un-install re-install Graphics drivers from HP and NVIDIA websites(responding to the Windows version I had i.e. 1903). My BIOS is also updated(F.04 for SytemID 84A7).Non of their solutions worked for me! By now I've almost tried all possible troubleshooting solutions that're available on the internet but non have helped. When I demanded the Technical Support to assign me an on-sight engineer(my laptop is under warranty) they simply declined saying they can't assign an on-sight engineer for any software issues, all this after wasting my 5-6 hrs.

So kindly provide me a solution that is known to work or at least help me confirm if this is a software issue or a hardware one!

OS       :  Windows 10 Pro (Version 1903)

Graphics Card (Dedicated): NVIDIA GeForce MX110

I'm expecting some response or I might make a separate new post 😞
