Hi,

I have two problems when I take notes on my computer :

- When I make a pause of writing for about 10 minutes on my computer with the pen mpp 2.0 and I come back, the pen is not writing correctly. The pen is detected as touching the screen when it is not. So it writes even though there are still a few millimetres between the screen and the tip of the pen, which makes smooth writing impossible and is extremely annoying. I take notes on GoodNotes, so when I have this problem, I tell the application to disconnect the pen, write with my finger for about 5 minutes, and then when I pick up my pen and write with it again, it works. How can I fix the problem so that even if I take a 10-minute break, the pen can still write properly?

- Another problem is that I feel like there is a horizontal strip in the middle of the screen that doesn't pick up my pen very well, and when I try to write on that strip, the ink ends up above or below it (the strip is about 1 cm thick). I have to press two or three times before the strip picks up the pen properly again. When I'm taking notes quickly for my classes, it's extremely annoying. (see screenshot of a video I made of the problem, that would be maybe useful if I can send you a video. In the the screenshot, my pen is placed in the middle of the upper line and the above line that have been just written (where the pointer of the mouse is) and the ''verticals'' lines are not done by me, that's jump because of the strip that doesn't see the pen correctly )

I also had another problem for about a month, windows hello doesn't work correctly, it sees my head but is unable to dislock the computer or to allow access to a password.

Can you gives me tips so I can get rid of these problems ?

Thank you and have a nice dayCapture d'écran 2026-03-11 105703.png!

Issues with the HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen and touchscreen are often related to drivers or compatibility. Try updating the touch and pen drivers, reinstalling the HID-compliant touch screen in Device Manager, and make sure the device supports pen input in Windows settings. Also check that the pen is fully charged.
