Product: HP Notebook 15-ay009dx

After closing my HP Notebook with a calendar inside, the metal spiral binding punctured the screen. Can HP replace the screen half/section of the computer?

Hi,

The part number for the screen is 809612-010

You can perform an online search with part number.

Ex:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR2.TRC1.A0.H0.X809612-010.TRS...

 

On page 79 point1 and page 80 point 3 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the panel.

If you do not want to perform the fix on your own, I would take to a local trusted computer repair shop and have them perform the fix.
