Same thing today for me.  HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 16-aa0xxx. Today I have a Zoom call and "camera not found" but... it's in device manager as expected and it logs me in with facial recognition but doesn't recognize the camera anywhere else... privacy settings good and camera on.

Hi  @patryanvb,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I hear your concern on how it must be to have your camera working for Windows Hello but not showing up in Zoom right when you need it.

To narrow down the issue, Could you kindly confirm the below details :

Does the camera work in other apps like the built-in Camera app or Microsoft Teams?

When you open Device Manager, is the camera listed under “Imaging devices” or “Cameras” without any warning icons?

Here are few =steps you can try :

  1. Check Zoom permissions: Go to Windows Settings -Privacy & Security -Camera, and ensure Zoom has permission to use the camera.
  2. Update drivers: In Device Manager, right-click your camera -Update driver -Search automatically. If no update is found, visit HP Support  https://support.hp.com/ for your model.
  3. Disable and re-enable: Right-click the camera in Device Manager, choose “Disable device,” then “Enable device.”
  4. Run Windows troubleshooter: Settings -System -Troubleshoot -Other troubleshooters -Camera.
  5. Check Zoom video settings: In Zoom, go to Settings -Video, and confirm the correct camera is selected.

If the issue persists, we may need to reinstall the camera driver or check for HP-specific firmware updates.

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.

Unfortunately no help on any of these. My camera does recognize me and let me login and have tried every diagnostic suggested online.

Error 0xA00F4244 (NoCamerasAreAttached)

The device does show up in device manager with no error messages. Have tried stopping/starting and also deleting and reinstalling.
