hey i got an hp pavilion p7-1235 and i wanna use a rtx 3060 ti but I need to update my bios can you give me the link to the update please
oh and i did upgrade my power supply so that's not a problem i just need the bios

what I found is that you go to the HP website support and use the virtual bot to find your bios update. However, in my case there was no longer a link to update the bios. It was obsolete. too old. the bios was at 7.03 and the newest was 7.16 and the video card required at least an 8 to operate. The motherboard would need to be replaced with a newer chipset to support the same cpu and the newer graphics card. HP is proprietary, meaning everything has to match or it won't work. So I ended up building my own pc at newegg.
