Pavilion 15z-cw000

I cracked my screen; it is no longer in warranty; I want to order a replacement and install it on my own. Web support is currently down and the HP site won't pull a product manual for me, or put me in touch with an agent, so I was hoping for help here. My Pavilion 15 model doesn't seem to appear in any of the lists, but it is a Pavilion 15z-cw000. I want to be certain I order the right LCD screen for this but am not sure how the part/product numbers on the back of the LCD screen work. The back of my broken screen has the following product info listed:

Sticker 1:

BOE

NT156WHM-T03

LYAF1888940N0064A

MADE IN CHINA CT: CHBUT01GZB86EK

Sticker 2:

156048CCJTAJ88KHBA4721

If purchasing a replacement, whether from HP or from a 3rd party, which numbers do I need to match for certain? I assume the BOE brand and then simply "NT156WHM-T03" but I want to verify this before trying to purchase.

Thanks!

-Zach

L25330-001 this would work if the device went with 1366x768 HD display

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers.

Welcome to HP support community.

Refer page no.22 in this service manual for the display part number and the steps to replace the display.

click here to access the service center locator and you may use the same to have the device repaired,

As you mentioned there would be charges that would apply, to get the repairs done as it isn't covered by warranty.

Also, if you wish to replace the part on your own, you may either get the part number on the service guide (replacement procedure explained) or order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, use the HP Parts Surfer to find the part number and If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.

I hope that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.

The service guide you linked to is not even for a model similar to mine. I do not want to waste time and money! So far the closest part I can find to matching my model is this: L25330-001. Can you confirm that will work for my Pavilion 15z cw-000??
