Product: HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15-ee0504sa
The lid sensor function on my Envy x360 convertible has become erratic - often when i close the lid the device won't restart, but then if I try again later it works. Also on at least one occasion I've shut the lid and the machine has not gone into hibernation - so I'm pretty sure that is the problem.
Therefore it seems that I need to replace the Hall sensor. After doing some research, I believe that the part I need is HP part no LS-J472P, which are cheap and easily available. Before tearing my laptop down, I'd be grateful if someone out there could confirm this is the correct replacement part for my model?
Many thanks
