Hi,
My screen has popped out of the casing somehow (not sure how long it's been like this!) and i attempted to push it back in however something seems disloged underneath the bottom right corner so it won't go back in and the space to the left of that (above the hinge) has cracked. This has created hairline fractures over some of the screen.
The image is not distorted or affected and the touchscreen mostly works (seems to think someone is pressing it when it's the crack applying pressure).
I want to replace the screen so it sits back in the frame and doesn't risk worsening. I would prefer if the touchscreen is kepy intact however if this is expensive, I would happily replace the glass without that if that's possible. Anyone recommend links for the replacement top glass/digitizer. I believe HP only sell the full screen which I've been quoted from PC world/Currys as £280! (laptop is 3 years old and cost me £500 so not willing to pay more than £150)
Thanks!
