Elitebook 850 G7
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

my issue is the resolution of the two external screens. One is running with 2560 x 1440 the other one just with 1920 x 1080. It isn't possible to change. Also to set both on 1920 x 1080 is not possible.

I have two HP P24q G4, a USB-C Dock G5 and a Elitebook 850 G7 IDS base model.

Before I got the USB-C Dock G5 I tried a Docking from Lenovo, wasn't working. So I tried a couple of different cables, HDMI-HDMI with a DP Adapter, HMDI-DP cable etc..

If I connect just one Screen via HDMI or DP to the Dock or via HDMI to the notebook they are working with a resolution of 2560 x 1440.

Notebook and Dock are updated and I also talked to HP support, they believe the cables are the problem. Can't believe that, have tried 5 different cables. My colleague has the same issue with the same set-up. We actually don't have the possibility to try another screen.

Thanks
