Dear HP Support Team,

I am writing to report a concerning issue regarding a recent interaction with what I believe to be a fraudulent HP support service, which has resulted in financial loss and unauthorized remote access to my computer.

On [insert date of initial contact], I contacted HP support for assistance with an issue related to my HP printer. I was connected with an agent who seemed knowledgeable and requested remote access to my computer to diagnose and resolve the issue. After allowing remote access, the agent ran some diagnostics and assured me they would get back to me with further information.

Soon after, I was contacted by another individual, claiming to be from HP support, who continued working on my computer without my consent. This person began recommending that I purchase a subscription to Wolf Security to avoid similar issues in the future. Despite my requests for a case number and login details for the security service, I did not receive the promised email with this information.

The situation escalated when I was persuaded into making a payment of £200 to an individual named Syed Ali, with no proof of the services rendered, nor any tangible documentation regarding the transaction. I made the payment via PayPal and have since frozen the transaction to prevent any further unauthorized actions.

I am deeply concerned that I have been scammed by individuals posing as legitimate HP support representatives. I am requesting the following actions:

  1. A formal investigation into this matter and confirmation that this incident was not related to HP's official support team.
  2. Immediate clarification of the HP support process and steps to ensure that such fraudulent activity does not occur in the future.
  3. Guidance on how to proceed with resolving this issue and any compensation or assistance HP may offer to victims of such scams.

I would also appreciate it if you could confirm that my account details and devices are secure and that no sensitive data was compromised during this interaction.

Please treat this matter with urgency, and I look forward to your prompt response.

Thank you for your attention to this serious issue.
