HP Spectre x360 16 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 16-f1000 (508S0AV)

Good day,

I bought my notebook one year ago. 30 Sept 2023, from local HP dealer HPMarket.cz with International warranty for 2 years.

I'm a graphic designer. When I was on business trip this spring I noticed that on the right side of the screen, where I'm scrolling pages up/down (Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop), a kind of scratches developed, see images attached. When I was back home I opened a case with HP Support and sent same photo and description.

Today this case was closed, because local technical support decided that my case is CID.

In HP Knowledge Base CID described as: CID is generally described as damage caused by accidents such as sharp object impacts, liquid spills, or drops.

The damage to my laptop's monitor was not caused by sharp objects, spilled liquid, some other accidents, etc. It was caused by use of touch pen that is included in the package of this laptop. As it can be seen from the attached photos - the damage is only on the right side of the monitor, where I scroll the page with the touch pen. Therefore, it cannot fall under the category of CID. This is, in my view, clearly relates the quality of the monitor or stylus pen.

Moreover, I have been using the stylus with the HP SPECTRE for 5 years and only this model has such a defect.

I see a similar case here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/Hp-tilt-pen-leaves-scratches/m-p/8243...

which ended by suggestion to contact HP Support locally.

Please advise what can be done in my case.

Thank you,
