hp omen 15-ce198wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Whenever my laptop goes to sleep due to inactivity for 20 minutes then I open it up, it displays a distorted screen (in chrome web browser) and when I navigate to another tab, it distorts that tab for a while and then it disappears, and when I go back to the tab where the whole page is distorted, the distortion disappears as well. i checked if my graphic card's driver is out of date, but its not. Here is the picture below. Does this mean there is a damage inside my laptop?

@Keith_CaVin,

I reviewed your post and I understand that the display is distorted after waking up the computer from sleep.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

If you continue facing the issue, then follow the below steps.

Press ‘Win + I’ shortcut keys to open Windows Settings app.

Click on ‘Update & Security’, then go to the ‘Troubleshoot’ section from the left-side menu.

Scroll downwards a bit and click on the ‘Power’ option.

Click on ‘Run the Troubleshooter’. It will start detecting the problems and if it founds, go ahead fixing it.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
