Hello, @ManojAccra - Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I see that your 2 HP pavilion notebooks are facing an identical issue with the display. First off, greatly appreciates your detailed troubleshooting efforts to rectify the issue! But, 2 laptops facing the exact same issue could be caused due to some common external factors. It's very rare chance that the exact same issue is found on 2 different laptops. Let's first try and eliminate those external factors through these steps:

  1. Check the cable you are using to connect the notebook to the external monitor/display. If you were using the same cable, then try using a different cable and check. Could be possible that the cable itself is faulty and is causing the issue.
  2. If the cable is not the cause of the issue, it could be very well the external monitor/display or the monitor port. Try connecting your notebooks to a different monitor and check for the issue resolution.

Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you!

Cheers 🙂
