HP Pavilion x360 Laptop - 14m-dw0013dx
Microsoft Windows 11

After an update on 10/3, randomly when playing video (i.e. Youtube or other video embedded on pages) the screen will go completely black while the video continues to play in the background. I can alt-tab to other applications and the screen returns but trying to go back to the page where the video is playing will cause the screen to go black. I'm sometimes able to stop the video and go back to the page by stopping the video using the controls on the lock screen, however afterwards the display glitches in and out with duplicate pixels displaying next to the cursor and other elements on screen. The only solution then is to restart. This doesn't happen every time I play video, sometimes it works fine for long periods of video playing with no issues.

According to my update history I had two driver updates installed on 10/3:

HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 1.47.3132.0

HP Inc. - SoftwareComponent - 2.1.17.45138

      • An available BIOS update resolves a specific issue or improves computer performance.
      • The current BIOS does not support a hardware component or a Windows upgrade.
