Microsoft Windows 11

I bought the laptop about 15 months ago. I was using it during the workday, closed it and went away for lunch. I came back and the screen looks like the attached photo (external monitor shown for comparison). The screen has lines through it and shakes making it unusable. There is also a black line across the top. I tried re-installing and updating drivers. Using an external display works fine so I suspect there is an issue with the screen, perhaps in the hinge? I did not drop it or damage it in anyway. Warranty is expired - I spoke with BestBuy and they said that they can't help and I should contact HP directly. Any ideas on what this could be or ways to troubleshoot? Thanks!image0 (8).jpegimage1 (1).jpeg
