HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0000tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My brand new HP Spectre x360 has a display problem with the pixels, causing the screen door effect. I did some research and apparently, it's a hardware issue with the LCD where it displays the gap between the pixels, causing this. The lines run diagonally and make small diamond shapes, and it's awfully prominent on lighter colours. Although I can still use my laptop normally, it's very distracting at times and I'm just frustrated I paid for an expensive high-end laptop with this issue. Is there maybe a small chance it's a software issue and I can fix it myself? I'm hesitant to contact HP directly because this is already a replacement laptop for another issue I had earlier. Am I just being too picky? I can't seem to bring myself to ignore it though.

Hi! @allorey

Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?

Have you tried checking with an external monitor does the issue persist?

I have checked the records and found a service advisory related to the issue you have mentioned. Please try the steps recommended below.

To resolve this issue, uninstall the graphics driver installed by Windows Update and download and install the following SoftPaq to install the earlier version of the Intel Graphic driver, version 24.20.100.6291.
Open Windows Settings.
Select Apps & Features.
Locate the Intel Graphic Driver.
Select Uninstall.
Follow on-screen instructions to uninstall the driver.
Install the SoftPaq SP92633 to go back to the prior driver version, 24.20.100.6291.

Download the graphics driver using this link. Click Here

Also, update the BIOS on the PC to the latest version.
