Hello, I'm not sure what the best thing to do is. I'm currently in college and use my laptop numerous hours a day, I do have the 3-year full coverage warranty on my laptop, but I can't go a day without it, or I might fail classes. My current issue is that my screen keeps randomly flashing black, this occurs at any angle as well. To top it off my screen also flashed black at one point but had an odd grey bar across the top of the screen though this has only occurred once, while the black flashes happen often and pretty much 3 times a minute or more currently.
Anyone know what I could do or where I could go to fix this quickly, I have tried Diagonostic tests with, windows, HPs diagnostic, and the HP assistant app, but all say everything is working perfectly. I also checked the system and it says everything's working, though I do have a single dead pixel spot.

This needs to be fixed before it goes out at the wrong time. In my area laptops rent 39 a week.
General ideas of what could be wrong: https://techjury.net/blog/why-does-my-monitor-keep-going-black/
When did this problem first show up? Was it after an update to windows? From 10 to 11?
Is it only after say 30 minutes or only when running certain applications?
Does it occur only when on A/C or only on battery?
Anyway, do this first: We need to find if the problem is hardware like bad cable, connector or display or if it is a windows problem.
Power your laptop up, tap the ESC key a few times and get into the HP diagnostics.
I think the the F2 key starts diagnostics. If it does not or there are no diagnostics then look here
When the diagnostics start, select the display test (if any) or the component test. In the component test, look for display or touchscreen test. Run the test for several minutes maybe several times to see if the screen blanks out. If the problem happens during these diagnostic tests, then it is hardware related. Exercise your warranty and be sure to tell them to put the old disk drive in the replacement system or to return the drive to you. It is unlike they will actually repair it.
If the problem does not show up "outside of windows" then try this graphics driver released Sep 2023
