HP Pavilion Laptop PC 15-eh0511sa

My screen starting flickering  only if the brightness is turned up over 50%  already reset the computer and run all the tests i could find in the hardware management tool,. Unistalled update etc. Any ideas

I don't know why folks think system reset is a Miracle Cure for anything that ails a PC -- for if there are any hardware issues, not only is this a waste of time, it can also trash the PC.

 

You need to connect an external monitor to see if it has the same issues.

 

If it does, then the video chip in your laptop is failing and since that can not be replaced, that means the laptop has limited time left.

 

If it does not, that means the screen is failing and needs to be replaced -- but this is very expensive in newer laptops and often costs more than simply replacing the laptop.
