I've noticed that when I'm watching YouTube, the screen will sometimes flicker and it goes black for one second. When it goes back to normal, the website reloads. So far this only happens when I'm using YouTube on google chrome. Another issue is that the YouTube video goes green when I pause it. It goes back to normal when I play it. I don't know if this is a website issue but I've never had any problems when using other laptops. I just bought my computer a week ago and the system already updated itself to the latest windows 10 on the first day I've used it. Please advise on what I can do. It isn't really affecting the performance of the laptop but it is disturbing me as this laptop is brand new.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue: Updating your computer’s graphics driver may correct the problems.
Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)
To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.
Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.
- To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon
.
- Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
- Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
- Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
- Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
- Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Follow the instructions below for Chrome:
- At the top right, select More.
- Select Settings.
- Select Advanced.
- Select System.
- Turn off "Use hardware acceleration when available".
If you're using a browser other than Chrome, you can learn how to turn off hardware acceleration in that browser's help content.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
