OMEN by HP Laptop PC - 17t-w000 CTO (ENERGY STAR)

The display screen had a few horizontal white lines for some while. Was operating fine. When I lifted up the notebook all of a sudden these thin colored lines showing up in sections with black sections. Sometimes for a split second the usual display appears. Have been able to log into notebook routing the display to a tv monitor.

I was able to have notebook scan for drivers following the link provide. The Intel WLAN Driver and Intel Bluetooth Driver were listed as critical and download and installed. Just for the heck of I also installed the BIOS that was available.

I also installed the latest Nvida driver that was available via the Nvidia site.

"If the issue persists, then please follow the steps mentioned in this document" was not particularly helpful.

The problem actually occurred as I picked the notebook up from coffee table onto my lap.
