My hp laptop is new and the problem occured since the first week after i bought it. At first there were only lines appearing vertically but the other day the screen started to flicker and blinking between black and green colour screen. I need help on how to fix it since im far away from hp center.

Greetings @SingMei,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are facing an issue with the display on your notebook where it is flickering and blinking green and black, is that right?
Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?
Have you tried to update all the drivers using HP Support Assistant?
Does the issue occur while using any particular application or watching online videos?
Recommend you update all the drivers on your computer using HP Support Assistant. Click here to know more about HPSA.
Make sure BIOS, chipset and graphics drivers are updated. (Using HPSA.)
Once all the drivers are updated, observe your computer and check if the issue reoccurs.
If the issue reoccurs. Shut down your computer.
Wait for a minute.
Turn the computer On and keep tapping F11 to enter recovery manager.
Observe the computer in recovery manager.
If the flickering and blinking occur in Recovery Manager mode, then it is a hardware issue and request you contact our phone support for any service options available for your computer.
Let me know if this helped.

hiii, I've updated all the things and it still fickers though. sometimes it will not flicker but it normally will blink and showing lines while im using it,(not only watching videos). I turned of my laptop and when i turn it on i tapped on f11 but there was nothing happening. I've done some of the trouble shooting and still dont know what's wrong with the laptop. I've checked online and one of the owners (having this model as well) , having same issue as mine. And noone can fix the problem 😞 what should i do

Thanks for the reply and trying the suggested steps.
Turn the computer On and keep tapping ESC to enter the Startup Menu and select BIOS or Recovery manager and check if the screen flickers.
If the issue persists, it is more likely to be a hardware issue and request you contact our phone support for any service options available.
Keep me posted.

Hello sorry for the late reply. I've tried the method and i observed awhile, it didnt flicker. Now i realised it sometimes will only flickers when im watching videos. So far it doesnt flickers as much as before and not so serious. So , does it mean there is no hardware issue?
