Hi @Andy1919,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your PC!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Display Resolution Settings:

  • Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings."
  • Ensure the resolution is set to the recommended level, typically the highest resolution available.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Go to the HP Support website or your PC's manufacturer website.
  • Download and install the latest driver updates for your graphics card.
  • You can also check Windows Update or use the "Device Manager" to look for driver updates.

Adjust Video Playback Settings:

  • Ensure that any media player or streaming service you are using is set to play videos in HD or the highest available quality.
  • Check the settings within the application or service to adjust the playback resolution.

Check Internet Connection:

  • A poor internet connection can cause streaming services to lower video quality. Ensure you have a stable and high-speed internet connection.

Perform a System Restart:

  • Restarting your computer can often resolve temporary glitches or system changes affecting display quality.

Ensure Proper Connections:

  • If using an external monitor, ensure that the HDMI or VGA cable connections are secure.

Scan for Malware:

  • Malware can occasionally affect display settings or system performance. Run a full antivirus scan to rule out this possibility.

I hope this helps.
