Hi @Boobalan96,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you might be experiencing a common issue with LCD screens where there's discoloration or uneven lighting. This could be caused by a few factors.
- Backlight Bleed: This occurs when the backlight of the display is unevenly distributed, leading to noticeable color tints or brightness in certain areas. It’s generally more visible in darker screens or during black backgrounds.
- Screen Burn-in or Image Retention: This happens when a static image has been displayed for a long period, causing a residual ghosting effect. However, this typically affects the entire screen rather than just one corner.
- Temperature Issues: Sometimes, high temperatures can cause color shifts or discoloration in screens.
- LCD Panel Defect: There might be a defect in the panel itself, which could cause localized color issues.
Troubleshooting Steps
- Check for Software Issues: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes color calibration settings can affect how colors are displayed.
- Screen Calibration: Use built-in calibration tools in Windows software to recalibrate your screen’s color settings.
- Reset Your Display Settings: Go to Display Settings in Windows and reset any custom color profiles.
- Inspect for Physical Damage: Ensure there’s no visible damage or loose connections if you’re comfortable checking the hardware.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
