So this happened to my laptop today. (if the photo is not visible it is a mangle of pixels and a green and white fuzzy and shaky view) I was teaching and drawing some graphs for my students when the screen went as seen here. I had to cut off my students and switch the laptop off. Embarrassing and unprofessional as I had a supervisor in the middle of the meeting. I have the laptop on now, but not trusting it. I have contacted HP support as this thing has still 4 months on the warranty. Not happy as I blew £700 on this thing.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- When was the last time it worked without these issues?
- Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
- Have you checked the display on an external monitor?
Let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:
I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,
If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
