Product: HP Pavilion dv6-3030tx Entertainment Notebook PC

Hi,

 

Not sure why it happened but when I turned it on today I get the okay boot that shows the initial Windows 10 logo, then it goes to a B&W screen that is split into 2 horizontal parts.

Top part is lighter than the black lower. then it goes randomly to gray bottom and slightly darker gray top.. all horiz.

No matter what  I do, it is the same.

The screen bright but works

I hear the motor roar every now and then, but them subsides.

 

EDIT: I now have an external monitor attached and it all looks and works fine, but the notebook screen is still split, no vision.

Any help pleas?

 

EDIT: Messed around with drivers and a few other things and the screen has come to life. All good now.
