Pavilion 15-bc000nx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

My screen is busted and I need to replace it. It was a UHD non-touch display with 40 pin connector. I now plan to downgrade to FHD display because UHD was slowing GPU's performance down.

I have tried searching for a compatible FHD screen with a 40 pin connector, using the model no. (15-bc000nx) and product no. (W7B64EA) both, but unfortunately cannot find anything on the internet. All the FHD screens I have come across are 30 pin.

The local HP dealer do not have an FHD screen either. I would extremely appreciate if someone can provide a list of compatible FHD screen(s).

See page 63 in your notebook Manual:
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05955459

Specs: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c05228613

You need one of these HP part,
Non-touch models:
● FHD, UWVA : 752920-012
● FHD, SVA : 798933-015

Available but very very costly from HP part store:
$372 - https://parts.hp.com/hpparts/Search_Results.aspx?mscssid=3DF887140EB145BB836390F96A8BD3C2&SearchIn=P...

Search the part with 40 pin as search keyword.

You can get generic non touch FHD display panels with exact specs listed in Manual with 40 pin connector.

Hello Visruth,

I have tried searching earlier with these spare part numbers as well. The one available on HP spare parts website is too expensive, agreed. I did find some options on several other websites for a generic one, but unfortunately it did not mention that it is with a 40-pin connector or not, and they did not respond to my emails.

Even the one on HP spare parts site it does not say whether 752920-012 and 798933-015 are 40-pin or not.

Do you mean that all search results for 752920-012 and 798933-015 will be 40-pin for sure?

The one from HP part store will be the one you need. I don't think you need to be concerned about that while ordering from HP directly because it depends on part number alone.

You can contact HP sales and clarify.

Through 3rd party sellers, you've to confirm it contacting them
