Hi @anilp_777,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Spectre laptop might have a problem with the screen or the hinge mechanism that allows it to rotate to 360 degrees. Here are a few things you can try.
- Update your graphics driver: Sometimes outdated graphics drivers can cause issues with the display. Go to the HP support website and download the latest graphics driver for your model.
- Check the hinge mechanism: Make sure that the hinge is not loose or damaged in any way. If you notice any issues, it might be best to take it to a professional for repair.
- Perform a hardware diagnostic test: HP laptops come with a built-in hardware diagnostic test that can help identify any hardware issues. To run the test, restart your laptop and press the F2 key repeatedly until the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics menu appears. Select "Component Tests" and then "Display." Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the test.
- Check the power settings: It's possible that your laptop is set to turn off the display when it's rotated to 360 degrees. Go to "Control Panel" > "Power Options" and check the settings for "On battery" and "Plugged in."
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
