Hi,
I own an HP Spectre x360 - 13-ap0001la and about three weeks ago i started to work with a second display (DELL Ultrasharp U2515H), i just purchased an HDMI - USB C adapter from amazon:
Did just the simple connection and the monitor was working perfectly for about two weeks. After that time for some reason the monitor stopped working and going into "Power saving mode", during that time this updates were installed:
I decided to purchase a second HDMI-USB C adapter, thinking that the problem was the cable, this time i got this cable:
However, the problem persisted and the monitor is going to Power saving mode when connected to the laptop.
So far this is what I've tried:
1. Replacing the HDMI-USB C adapter
2. Connecting another laptop to the monitor using direct HDMI connection (the monitor works)
3. Connecting another laptop using the USB C to HDMI adapter - didn't work, the monitor goes to sleeping mode as well
4. Connecting my laptop to another monitor using the same adapters - doesn't work, the monitor doesn't get any signal
5. I've installed, uninstalled and updated the Display adapters drivers from Intel - didn't work
I don't know what else to try, it seems that the problem is the adapter but it was working just fine before.
I really would appreciate any help!
Best,
Alejandra
