Have you tried the built in Windows 10 display calibration? It lets you adjust gamma and brightness but there will not be a specific adjustment for contrast. Laptops generally do not have a hardware contrast control for the display. If you are used to studio type expensive computer monitors you are going to find it hard to get a laptop screen working the way you like. Some very high end laptops like Mobile Workstations have premium displays that can produce acceptable results but the consumer Grade Pavilion 17 uses average ordinary panels. So try typing "calibrate" in the search box and go to calibrate display color in the control panel and run through the steps and take your time really adjusting every possible adjustment to make it look as good as possible. Should improve matters for you.
