Example: Spectre
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP Spectre that began having issues with the shift keys not working back on Sept 14th. The warrantly expired Sept 29th so I am good there, but does anyone know an easy way to fix this?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

  • Did you make any changes to the settings of your PC prior to the issue?

Please try the steps recommended below:

  • Go to Control Panel then look for Ease of Access
  • Click on Change how your keyboard works.
  • Uncheck where it says Turn on Sticky Keys and click OK.
  • If this doesn't work try checking the keyboard language if set correctly.
  • Go back to Control Panel then look for Region and Language and make sure all tabs at set to the United States.
  • Click Apply when a change is made then try your keyboard again.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
